Fantasy Football Tips
Let Fantasy Pigskin Tips.com advise you on how to make the
best fantasy football picks each year!
Remember, the difference
in
how many points your players score compared to others in that position
is more
important than the absolute number of points that player scores!
In other words, your highest-scoring player is a QB who only
earns 4 points more than many other QB's is less important
than your highest-scoring RB who earns 8 points less than many other
RB's. Superstars such as Peyton Manning and Ladanian
Tomlinson are so valuable because they consistently score
significantly more points than others at their positions.
We provide general tips on how to pick efficient football
players at each position to assemble a high-scoring fantasy footall
team. We rank the position in the following order of
importance:

- Running
backs (RB)
- Quarterbacks (QB)
- Wide
receivers (WR)
- Tight ends (TE)
- Place
kickers (PK)
- Defense/Special teams (D/ST)
Keep in mind these general guidelines for picking fantasy players
during your draft:
- Don't pick players at the same position
that have the same
bye week.
- Avoid selecting QB/WR tandems from the
same team.
If the offense has a
bad week or plays a tough defense, neither will score many points.
They also will have the same bye week.
- Take
the best player available instead of focusing on
drafting for a
specific position each round. (i.e., If everyone selects a
running
back in the first round, you should consider drafting Peyton Manning
due to his propensity for putting up gawdy numbers relative to other
quarterbacks.)
- Assess your roster after a couple
rounds to ensure that you
obtain quality RB's, QB's, and WR's.
- Don't pick
players at the same position that have the same
bye week.
